The Wind & Wings by award-winning sculptor Yeo Chee Kiong was the Legacy Sculpture commissioned by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to commemorate its role as the official Youth Olympic Games Village 2010. At a height of 6.6m, the stainless steel sculpture featured a butterfly, buoyed by rain and wind, to rest on the apex of a grass blade – suggesting the Olympic values of Excellence, Respect and Friendship.

Known for its experiential artworks, UK-based art and design studio Troika installed an electronic sculpture at ION Orchard using hundreds of computer-controlled flip-dots (similar to those used in display signages) to simulate a waterfall.  This project was managed end-to-end by Silver Rue.

Singaporean artist Kumari Nahappan was commissioned by ION Orchard to create a giant nutmeg signature sculpture at the corner of Paterson and Orchard Roads.  This sculpture was designed in a way to commemorate the past where Orchard Road used to be a nutmeg plantation.  Silver Rue was overall project manager for this sculpture.
Project successfully completed for client at their new high-end residential development.  The development features works from December Pang, Eric Chan, Kumari Nahappan, and others. 

The Best of UOB – The 10 Winning Works from the UOB Painting of the Year Competition 2001-2010.

This exhibition, held in conjunction with ArtSingapore’s 10th anniversary, pays tribute to the 10 Painting of the Year Grand prize winners of the past decade. The exhibition displayed the winning entries and marked the debut launch of video interviews with the winners that disclose their creative philosophies and addressed the outcomes and impact on the artistic development of the winners following their win. Directed and managed by Silver Rue.

Box Office Hits demonstrates the ingenuity of movie promotion in Singapore from the 1930s to the present. Rarely seen vintage pieces from the Cathay collection include images of walking human billboards, the now phased-out giant floats on trucks and pyjama contests. Selection by Lindy Poh & Claire Low & managed by Silver Rue for Cathay Organisation.


A solo exhibition of Chan’s most recent works, shaped by his interest in literary and mythical representations . Oriental empresses, English aristocrats and exotic insects emerge in these canvases. The works suggest the exquisite perversity of how our grand romances are constructed – within webs of seduction, intrigue and illusions. Project managed by Silver Rue.

The first sound art exhibition at the ION gallery held in conjunction with ION’s Sakura Festival celebrating Japanese culture. Multi-disciplinary artist ZUL’s installation of some 30 ‘sound orbs’ emit acoustic compositions from his Japan series - inspired by ambient and constructed sounds from the Japanese city of Ogaki. Project managed by Silver Rue.

This solo exhibition of Swiss-Chinese artist Franklin Chow comprises paintings, mixed media nstallations and video work - showcasing the artist’s exploration of Eastern and Western philosophies and pictorial traditions. Premieres at the official opening of ION Orchard and is accompanied by a catalogue with essays by French art historian Pierre Daix, the National Art Gallery’s senior curator Low Sze Wee and exhibition curator, Lindy Poh; project managed by Silver Rue.
